There is a difference between what is guiding us and what we are acting upon. But whatever we act upon certainly won't be the right thing to do. Why is that? We don't usually know the consequences of it until we have the exact story at the end. So, it is necessary to go through certain in-depth examinations. It may seem deluding how is it possible to move on with this kind of framework which certainly seems a waste of time. But we are not here to spend this much time making every decision but to test the actual frame or belief system we have. It is the trial and error process that always makes the best belief system. And it is the way we see ourselves and it is how we act upon.

Acting upon instinct is the definition of the true character of a person. The character could be a coalition of conscious and unconscious mixture of the self. But we cannot entirely trust the process of instinct-driven decisions. Whatever the decision, if it results from submission to our senses, the pleasure we get from it will sooner or later hit with pain. Pain in whatever form, but it is undeniable. Pleasure and pain are the two sides of a coin. We cannot drag the one from the other. And there is also no use in regretting thereafter when the pain hits you. It will only multiply the pain and suffering. But why do we keep missing this truth, this reality is often the result of a lack of proper guidance. We heard the advice from the elders about not committing any sin. Do not give yourself to your pleasures. But we see people enjoying their lives doing things that are nasty and evil, yet they don't seem to have any other problems in their lives. Because this is not science that we can prove hence with a formula. What is right and what is wrong will never be dismantled with science. So we easily fall into a pleasurable life. But by analyzing our own life and the life of others, whatever happens in life always comes with the other side of the coin. Why does it happen?

When we don't know what is gonna happen after we do something, we mostly won't give any importance to the kind of activities we do. Good or bad, deep inside we know what is good and what we should do to live a meaningful life. But we mask the inner knowledge and we go behind what makes us happy at the instant. But when the suffering turns out to be true, we mostly regret our decision that led to instant pleasure. Always make choices based on life experience, because it will never lie. It is a brutal reality, but we must face it. And observe it.

These days it is easy to get delusional. Because what we see, what we hear, and what we do are controlled by the organization and people in power. They say what is right and what is wrong, we have no choice but to believe it. Oh, you are going to think about that, here are the people who do these things and enjoy their lives. Why waste time thinking anyway?

A few instances are :

  • the fact people drink a lot of Coke instead of water. It's not because we want to drink, it is because they want us to drink. We know it is poison

  • It is good to watch porn and sleep with whomever you want—the very number one formula to live a miserable life.

  • Payday loans scam. They want you to take the loan and become a slave for the next couple of decades

These are just a few of the thousands. We do not have the right to choose what we want and what we need. There is only a thin line. Most of the things we want are not our needs, it is someone else's needs.

But amid all these, we are the ones who suffer at the end.
